Theia is a company brain built on HydraDB. It answers questions across Slack, Gmail, Linear, Jira, GitHub, Confluence, Drive, HubSpot and Fireflies, works out who is who, prefers the fact that is still true, and cites the document behind every line.
I designed and built the frontend: the landing page, the dashboard and the knowledge graph views, in React, TypeScript, Tailwind and Motion. The look is a Greek temple, after the Titan of sight the product is named for.

The brief
Know it all
Company knowledge is scattered across nine tools, and the same person goes by four names in them. Theia folds it all into one graph. The interface had to make that feel less like a database and more like an oracle: calm, certain, and always showing its sources.

Landing page
A temple you scroll through
Theia is the Titan of sight, so the landing page is a temple: ruined columns and a leaping statue in the hero, then a colonnade where two statues glide in from behind the columns as you scroll. The motion is tied to scroll position, so it runs backwards when you scroll back.

The mark
A statue that became a letter
The mark starts from a winged sculpture. Cut out, it goes from bronze to verdigris to a flat silhouette, and the silhouette takes the place of the T in a tall, high-contrast italic.
